Meet "Felix" - Toy Vehicle

Over on CommuteOrlando, the claim was made that you can bicycle commute for under 9¢ per mile. Right now, my new commuter bike, Buddy, is costing around 80¢. Pretty cheap compared to Felix, however. Not counting insurance, it sucks up somewhere close to $2/mile over the last 25 years. Good thing the miles count stays low. Real purty, though...

I find it quite refreshing to have a car enthusiast cyclist to read. You are not alone, and good cycling and good driving and nice cars are not mutually exclusive!

I may be car-free, but I have no antipathy toward the automobile. I am also a big NASCAR fan!

Now that I have 10,000 miles on my primary bicycle, I can boast a low cost per mile of $.55!

The picture was a rare instance (well, not actually that rare) for Felix.

We hear inaccurate talk about "cars turning," or "cars passing." Well, this picture's a case where it really WAS the car turning and stopping with no driver at the wheel.

On the positive side, I got a lot of extra detailing done while we waited for the tow...
