No Angry Drivers! More Motorist Psychology

There had to be a first time I linked to a news article - here's an unusual and interesting news article about a group that wanted to demonstrate how wasteful cars are, but demonstrated instead the virtue of "acting and being treated, as the drivers of vehicles." The reporter seems unaware that this is what's happening.

Maybe they'll conclude there might be some merit to riding that way when they're NOT trying to get publicity? I'd be interested in hearing more about what Laker had to say via Twitter if anybody knows.

Anyway, an interesting article from a different perspective, and y'all will probably read it quite different than most readers. For a more "typical" article on the same subject, including a video, go here.

This is an interesting article. My thought, is that the cyclists did not get any grief from motorists precisely because they were large. When you are large, the cars simply treat you like a slow-moving vehicle, the rules for which they know and seem to be capable of following. But when you are just a bicycle, some cars seem to grow incapable of processing you in the same manner.
