Recreational Road Users

In case some have forgotten that cyclists are not the only ones that use roads for recreational use, seen in this post are photos shot in and around Ocean Shores. We should not forget that recreational road use is legitimate, as much so as using same for commuting. Especially now in the digital age!

On second thought, it should also serve as a reminder to cyclists that many motoring road users are really not ON the road with a mind to conflict with cyclists or anybody else...

Very cool cars. I love the rat rods and the stripped down look of the autos first and last pictures. Classic and Antique cars are huge here in Ohio where I live. Car shows are going on all the time from spring to late fall. I appreciate the passion of those in the old car hobby. They are every bit as fanatical as we bikers are with our favorite mode of transport. Also they are doing a great service to American history by preserving cars and trucks from an era when they really were Made In USA.

The Jags are still in Texas, though our club did have a concours in Tacoma in August.
