This winter, the cross tires have yet to see snow, but having them on the bike convinced me to ride some dirt trails home from work last week just for a change in scenery. The cross rubber is huge-- 700-42, but they only cost me five bucks for the pair at a local bike swap. They look really cool on the cross bike I use as a commuter. Slow, though, but hey, its winter.Khalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11866897914538110672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2523357558654725888.post-57619747266303811052014-02-09T18:49:18.245-06:002014-02-09T18:49:18.245-06:00Yes. Armadillos have lousy wet weather traction but they are good enough for OS. In Texas, I've considered swapping out to cross tires for ice and snow. No studded tires for this guy.Steve Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13650405341304401203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2523357558654725888.post-26655023617032864702014-02-09T17:29:12.946-06:002014-02-09T17:29:12.946-06:00Steve, do you run the same tires in the snow as du...Steve, do you run the same tires in the snow as during normal riding?Khalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11866897914538110672noreply@blogger.com
