I will do a post on this in the not too distant future. There are advantages and disadvantages to each setup. You DO want to keep all your bikes the same way.Steve Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13650405341304401203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2523357558654725888.post-92073355131796796802009-09-27T07:40:38.036-05:002009-09-27T07:40:38.036-05:00despite my conflicting feelings about doing traffi...despite my conflicting feelings about doing traffic stops using only the rear brake

I find the easiest way around this is to put the front brake cable on the right (switching the normal arrangement on new bicycles). I've done this on almost all my bicycles, for the same reason. Also if I want to signal a left turn, I'll frequently have to wait for oncoming traffic, and want to have most of my braking available. This is an easy change to make yourself, especially since you seem to work on your own bicyclesAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06054442237158608957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2523357558654725888.post-61861401999615216492009-09-26T20:49:05.618-05:002009-09-26T20:49:05.618-05:00Congrats on finally getting that bike class! One thing I don't understand about Dallas, "Why do they need so many DART Police when they have a regular police department?"Steve Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13650405341304401203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2523357558654725888.post-74809524360878896662009-09-26T20:22:22.664-05:002009-09-26T20:22:22.664-05:00Dallas, a nice place to visit, but wouldn't wa...Dallas, a nice place to visit, but wouldn't want to live there?twisterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02593091250403547793noreply@blogger.com
