The school year is winding down, leading to scenes where students get “Flocked.” For reasons I don’t understand, school busses seem to be showing up along the way as well, though they’ve been absent ever since the first few weeks of school last September.

AP Exams are last week and this week. They are not given at most schools, so the kids need to be bussed from their home school to the school where the test is.
ReplyDeleteI know this because Mrs. Doohickie teaches an AP class.
The school year is NOT winding down... the school year is actually over, we just can't start vacation yet. hehe
ReplyDeleteI hope to interview my favorite crossing guard next week before everyone is OFFICIALLY gone!
ReplyDeleteI double checked with the wife.... the last AP exam was today. Let's see whether the bus sightings cease.
ReplyDeleteI rode by 2 schools with inflatable castles, games, class pictures... It looked like a carnival. I don't remember that kind of celebration a hundred years ago!
ReplyDeleteI have a favorite crossing guard too, Steve. I wave to her every morning. I wonder what stories she has to tell about the past year...
ReplyDeleteJRA, we both need to interview our crossing guards! I'll be watching for YOUR post.
ReplyDeleteJeff, at the age of 52, I'm not surprised you don't remember those celebrations a hundred years ago.
Doohickie, I'll see what happens to the busses. Regardless, they'll be gone in another couple of weeks.
Lizzylou, we're not gonna go there, hehe...
