(My daughter, Aurora, posing)
Today I rode a beach cruiser for the first time in 40 years. They say you never forget how to ride. They lie. First stop sign I came to, I fell over. Turns out it's not easy to stop on a coaster bike without putting one's foot down. With further practice, I concluded I'd just do the simple thing of suiting my stops to the bike. Same for sitting back & enjoying the springs. I have to say it was fun - as long as it's flat and you're not going more than 10 miles or so. I also got to ride around bike lanes. THAT was less fun, but that's another post .

How did AuroraA get along with her injured arm?
I'm glad to see it didn't keep her from participating in vacation adventures!
It was fine for bike riding. It did keep her from the bumper cars.
Oh, that Nishiki is a beauty.
