Indian Summer
Indian Summer is that last time in Autumn when the temperatures warm and the sun shines. The last time before winter really arrives. We may have had our North Texas Indian Summer today. High temperature was 79F. Even when it got dark, it was still over 70. It was definitely a "t shirt on the ride home" day today. Here, anyway.

The weather has been pretty mild so far this year. The folks up Doohickie"s hometown (Buffalo, N.Y.) are getting hammered with snow and extreme cold. I'll take the 70's over that mess anytime.
Ok, rub it in! Yesterday, close to where Rantwick lives in Southern Ontario, over 200 people were stranded in their vehicles overnight on one of the main highways. Most of them were rescued by people on snowmobiles which was the only way to reach them. Definitely not T shirt weather for them. Here in Western Canada it is just grey and rainy. No T shirts for us either!
Enjoy it while you can. When you're bemoaning about pedaling around in 30 degree weather I'll chuckle to myself.
30 degrees - that'd be - tomorrow!
Upper 70s with a light breeze. Let's ride. Perhaps in honor of our brothers and sisters whose machines would sink up to the hubs in snow out there.
In the KC area we're about halfway between riding home in a t-shirt and watching the Metrodome roof collapse. Given a choice, I'd take the t-shirt.
That's freaking madness. I can't even comprehend that sort of warmth right now. It sounds nice :) You guys have some extreme heat in the summer though which I would not deal with as much as you have to.
